Elder Joel Lopez

Week #48

Hola friends and familly!

Well last week I mentioned that my companion and I had to move our apartment because this week is transfers and we were getting two new Elders and they needed our room. So yesterday, we packed everything up and moved it all to the back end of our area to a different room. It sucked moving everything. We got everything set up and then found out later that nobody is coming, so we basically moved everything for nothing, are super far away from all the members and the pension that does our laundry and the room is terrible. So, I'm kinda butt hurt about it. lol

We found two new investigators to teach this week that are pretty good. One of them has a baby grandson that was just diagnosed with brain cancer and he is only 1-years-old. It's really sad. I was able to talk to them a lot about my experience and everything. It made me feel really sad for them. Hopefully, I can be of help to them.

I also said goodbye to some awesome Elders who are leaving tomorrow. It's hard to say goodbye to dudes that become really good friends, but that's life I guess. There are four of them that I spent a lot of time with, including my trainer.

This last week we went to a dance. haha All of the wards come together and do their cultural dances. It was pretty cool to watch. Our ward at home better step up their game. lol I'll see if the video I took will send. Fun to watch them all. Other than that, just a pretty normal week!
Love you guys,

Elder Kaeson Baird
