Baptism Week in Clarksville!

Hey Ya'll!

The best days of the week were our two baptisms, so I'll focus on those. For those of you who are wondering, yes, we are still in quarantine so baptisms are quaint because we can't invite the ward members, but still so spiritual.

Our first one was an ex-communicated member who is now coming back into the church after 40 years. He left the church due to some things he didn't like, but he found out over time that he missed the church. So he spent the last 40 years trying to get back and now he is so strong and everyone loves him! He is just the best! I'm really happy for him-just an awesome dude!

Then we have Jacob and besides that he is a great friend and nice guy, we met his family and they seem super nice as well! He has both parents and two brothers. At first they weren't too interested, but they actually came to the baptism and we enjoyed talking to them. They seemed fairly open, especially after we talked to the one brother so we are hoping to get in contact with them and teach them a little bit more.

Good news, Dover (my favorite area) is possibly getting another branch here shortly. Although quarantine is not my favorite way to do missionary work, it has been nice to see some fruits of our labors this week from people we were working with before the quarantine started. And they were happy to have the restrictions lifted enough to get baptized. The sooner they lift all the restrictions the better. I will be so happy to talk to people in person even if that means every door gets slammed in my face!

I included a picture of my favorite truck. While at the Endley's doing service, he uses this beast of a truck.

Stay Sane in Quarantine!
