The Joys of Spring & My Testimony in Korea

안녕하세요 여러분!! Hello everybody!! This week has been filled with warmth and light, physically and spiritually. I love the beginning of spring!! I love seeing beautiful flowers wake up, hearing the birds sing again, longer days of sunshine, less cloudy skies, and seeing trees begin to blossom. Spring is a powerful metaphor for renewal and growth, and how great our joy is when we hold onto faith during the winter. As I feel the warm sun on my face, I feel God's love, and I feel God's love when I see all of His wondrous creations. He created all these wonderful things for YOU!!
Learning Korean gets better and better each week, it's amazing how much I am able to say in only 5 weeks of learning. 하지만 ("ha-ji-man" but; however), I still feel INCREDIBLY HUMBLED because I see my weakness and where I lack every. day. 하지만, I think of one of my favorite scriptures: Ether 12:27.
"And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them."
God gives us weakness so that we can be humble. Through humility, we are blessed and are like Christ. In order to make our weakness strong, we need to rely on the Lord. And as we rely on the Lord, and have faith, our weakness, our dumb little weakness that may feel impossible to overcome, will become STRENTHS!! We won't just become average, or good enough, or kinda good. Our weaknesses will become STRENGTHS!!! 그래서 ("geu-lae-seo" and so), one day, through continuous faith, speaking Korean will be a strength for me :)) And I know this promise is real for everyone who abides by it.
Here's my simple and humble testimony in Korean. Please enjoy :)
저는 하나님께서 우리 모든을 사랑한다는 것을 알고있습니다. 우리는 하나님의 자녀들입니다. 저는 그리스도게서 살아요 그리고 우리가 그부을 따르하면 죽복받라는 것을 알고있습니다. 저는 몰몬경을 잠되하다는 것을 알고있습니다. 저는 조셉 스미스가 선지자라는 것을 알고있습니다. 옛수 그리스도의 복음 통해 우리가 영생을 받를 이것을 알고있습니다.
I testify that God loves all of us. We are God's children. I know Christ lives, and if we follow Him, we will be blessed. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know that true the gospel of Christ, we can receive eternal life.
