I SURVIVED A TYPHOON!!!!

Hey,
This week has been another fantastic one here in Hong Kong, and as you can probably guess by the title, we had a typhoon this week! There was a pretty good amount of water that came from the sky and some pretty good winds. We actually had to stay inside Monday night because of the storm but we survived.
This week was really good though we stayed really quite busy. Sometimes it’s funny how the Lord chooses to teach us, I feel like there are times that he tries to teach us and we completely miss the lesson. This week we were teaching an investigator about how we believe that people need to be called of God to administer in his church. She asked us whether we had been called as missionaries so we told her about how the prophet calls missionaries. She then asked again if we "knew" we were called of God.
After a minute I realized ‘Oh, I need to share about how the spirit confirmed to me that I had been called by a prophet to be a representative of Jesus Christ’. I realized that I need to stop teaching so much and start really testifying of the truths of the Gospel. Sometimes we get so caught up in what we want to say that we forget to say what the Lord wants us to say.
Also something fun this week, our investigator took us to Yam Chah this week which means ‘drink tea’, but don't worry about us breaking the Word of Wisdom-- there was no actual partaking of tea. That is just what all of the Hong Kong-ers call dim sum. So I got to eat chicken feet which is actually pretty good in case you were wondering. Hope Y'all have a good week.
