A Baptism and Transfers!!!

June 12th

Hello friends,

This week was the week of transfer calls. Its crazy that this last transfer is over, I feel like it just blew by! Luckily for me though I found out that I get to stay in Tseung Kwan O for another transfer. I am so excited to stay I love it here!

Also this week we had a baptism! Our investigator, Miko, got baptized! I was so privileged to see her faith grow so much in these past few weeks. In the scriptures it talks about the joy of bringing people unto Christ, and I can tell you that it is so great to see people change and make the commitment to follow Christ.

Also shout out to the members in our ward without them and their fantastic work it would have been so much harder for Miko to be baptized.

I don't have a ton of time today but hope Y'all have a good week and that you can continue to come unto Christ!

Sincerely,
Elder Ashton

Fun fact 1: Elder Ashton got our box of stuff from the states-not sure if it took 2 or 3 weeks, he’s not always at the mission home where I send stuff, but at least it arrived! (so glad he now has a lot of deodorant!)

Fun fact 2: He is quite happy to get to stay in TKO for at least another transfer. They have several investigators that are doing well and he said “in the Lego vernacular ‘everything is awesome’!” Which shows he’s still a goof.

Pictures:
Elder Ashton did not explain the pictures this week either, but it looks like several from Miko’s baptism, which is awesome. Some food pictures, including Captain Crunch, so clearly he’s not dying of hunger or anything, and some P-day pool.

You can email Elder Ashton at joel.ashton@myldsmail.net
