This week has been a pretty good one here in Hong Kong. This week was full of fun and adventure. This week we had an awesome Christmas Party with the ward, and they had a ton of food. They even gave us elders an entire turkey pan full of noodles! But it was great we had a young man that we started teaching come by and he really enjoyed it.
On Wednesday we had a mission tour and after that we had a mission party, and my rubber band shooting skills helped the Kowloon West Zone (my zone) win the 'minute to win it' competition!
The mission conference was good though. We talked about receiving personal revelation. One thing that I thought was interesting is something that Joseph Smith said. He said that we can't receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost without receiving revelations; they go hand in hand. As confirmed members of the Church we have the right and privilege of receiving revelation, it is just up to us to be listening for them. It is amazing to know that God loves each and every one of us and he wants to reveal things to each and every one of us. It is just another testimony of how much God really loves us!
Anyway, hope y'all have a good week!
Fun fact 1: He has mad rubber band skills from many years of training at home. It also probably helped that the motivation to win was getting boxes of cereal. His favorite thing.
Fun fact 2: Skyping home on Christmas (Christmas Eve in Denver) was great! He got to use his smartphone at the church so it was a little bit more than an hour.
Fun fact 3: He actually requested I set up a dentist appointment when he gets home. Not because he has any problem but that he wants a cleaning. He really must be growing up if he cares about dental hygiene!! Yay!

It's getting close but you still have time if you want to send him regular mail.
