I'm turning Chinese!!!
Hey Y'all,
So, as you can probably tell by the title I'm changing.
It's funny here; a mistake a lot of people make when speaking English is that they say, "do you know what is ___," instead of "do you know what ____ is". So the other day we were thinking of teaching that in English class but then a few days later I made the same mistake...
Anyway, these past few days have been pretty great. We met a white guy from the US who is a Baptist preacher and he tried to bible bash with us, but the he just ended up contradicting himself. After talking to him it became really evident just how important it is to have a modern day prophet.
Also, this week we did some of our studies outside and a former investigator just came up to us and asked to hear a message. We shared a message and met him again the next day, and he became a new investigator. Also, we were walking the streets the other day and we had someone flag us down and ask for our number, which was amazing because that doesn't happen to often here.
A few months ago we had one of the area presidency speak to us about talking to everybody and its really been cool to see how his counsel has helped. This Church and this Gospel really are so true and can help everybody! Anyway, add oil!

Fun fact 2: Elder Ashton's birthday is coming up next month (March 19th). Amazingly, it will be his last b-day in the field-so if you care to send an email or a letter I'm sure he'd love it.
