新年快樂 Happy Chinese New Year. 過年
Hey,
This week was another fantastic one here in 上水! It was full of amazing things. Cool thing this week, we found a new investigator Tsang Dou Ming who we visited when I first got to the area. When we visited he was suffering with illness and we gave him a blessing. The following weeks when we tried to meet with him he wasn't able to meet because of his health issues. Then last Sunday we fasted for him and, what do you know, this week he has been feeling better and we were able to visit him and he was able to come to church! It's so amazing to see how the Lord works in our lives and prepares people to come unto him.
Also this week is the beginning of good ole' Chinese New Year 過年 so basically for the next week everybody is going to be having a party. But that means everyone is busy; it's okay though, because we are going to go out and find a ton more 新慕道友 new investigators.
I'll keep it short this week because I got distracted by reading other emails. Hope y'all have a good week! Add Oil!!! 加油!!!

Fun fact 1: Elder Ashton says it has warmed up a little this week so he's not as cold, so that's good!
Fun fact 2: Sounds like at the moment his district is doing pretty well in finding new investigators, so that's fun. It means they've been out trying to contact people. But it's also something that can change and isn't always in their control, but it sounds like he's quite busy in his district. And busy is good!
