This week has been a pretty interesting one. This week I moved twice and got a new companion. This week we had to move the TKO apartment and then a few days later I had to move to my new area Sheung Shui. So for a couple of days I was stuck living out of a suitcase... I don't recommend it.
Before I left though, TKO ward was great and threw a surprise party. It was great! I was truly blessed to have been able to serve there. I love that ward. Luckily though, I moved straight into another great ward.
So far Sheung Shui has been great! It's definitely very different though; the culture here is a bit slower and less city like, but it's great. It's a little weird though because I don't know where anything is! Oh well, I'll learn.
Anyway, not to much else to report this week. I'm just trying to figure out who everyone is up here. Also, keep reading the Book of Mormon. It will give you strength! Have a good week! Add oil!
Sincerely,
Elder Ashton
Fun fact 1: His new area is called Sheung Shui but he and his companion live in the next area over called Fanling. He says the apartment is 'only' on the 12th floor (lame) haha-compared to 40th (what floor he was on in TKO).
Fun fact 2: He says the area feels more rural, and the people are more willing to talk to you. Also, he says mainlanders are everywhere packing suitcases of stuff to take back to the mainland!
Fun fact 3: Elder Ashton has been out on his mission one year on Thursday! And he says his English is bad now!
