Hey,
This week was a pretty good one here in the good old TKO. This week has been pretty normal not anything too crazy.
One thing that did happen though was that we were able to start meeting with a less active. I called her on the phone the other day and she was super happy to meet, one of the most pleasant times I've had scheduling someone on the phone. We met with her and she was super nice, and we will get to meet again this week hopefully we can help her find a way to get back to church.
Also funny story... yesterday I was calling through our less active book trying to find people to meet and when calling for someone I ended up calling a Japanese restaurant. I called and asked if the person was there and after getting the phone passed to several different people someone who didn't speak Chinese picked up and asked "Do you speak English?" after answering in the affirmative I found out that I was calling a Japanese restaurant. It was kinda funny.
Today we went hiking in Po Lam it was pretty fun. I'll attach some pictures. Oh also this week one of the investigators I taught and turned over to other missionaries got baptized yesterday so that was awesome.

Fun fact 1: Usually Elder Ashton emails around 8 or 9 pm Sundays (in Denver), which is about 10-11 am Monday in Hong Kong. However, they hiked and then emailed, so this one showed up about 2:30 am (4:30 pm his time), so it was a nice birthday present for his mom to open on Monday.
Fun fact 2: His cough is improving, and he’s feeling better. So that’s good!
Fun fact 3: When we have General Conference this coming weekend, Hong Kong has regular church. Then they have General Conference rebroadcast (they’ll have translated it into Cantonese by then) the following week. But he & English speaking Missionaries get to watch it in English.
