Zone Conference

Hello my friends and family what a week it has been. I am running low on time as usual because of procrastination so I'll try to make this as good as I can.

Zone conference was sooo good. It was mostly a spiritual up lifting experience for me talking about the importance and significance of the First Vision. Towards the end of the conference we walked down to the Sacred Grove and spent 40 minutes in there then went back and finished. I've been there 3 times now and every time I go I always learn something new. One of the sister missionaries said something I loved "Joesph Smith wasn't the most learned in the things of the world but at that time he was the most learned in things that mattered most". Isn't that incredible to think about.
I learned so much that it's hard to even put into words. I can confidently say I know Joesph Smith did see God the Father and Jesus Christ. I know he was called to be a prophet.

My spiritual thought is something that really clicked with me in Sunday school last week.

"In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost."

We have all heard this on repeat, but just hear me out before you skip this thought.

Throughout time God has been continually raising the bar, starting with the law of moses, then with the higher law that Christ established. Now with the restoration of the gospel with new commandments such as the word of wisdom the bar is set even higher.

The pattern is the shift of responsibility from God to us, God is giving us more responsibility to go out and do good according the the agency which we have been given than he has EVER given to us. Correlate this with President Nelson's statement.

"In the COMING days..." These days are not quite here yet, but I believe that this is because in the coming days we will have more responsibility that we CANNOT be a faithful follower of Christ without the CONSTANT influence of the Holy Ghost to know what we should do. It is an absolute need.

I say this every week but I ran out of time and I'll have to put some of the things that happened this past week in next week's email. I love you all and thank you for all the emails I really appreciate them!!
1. Working in the rain all night and my companion's umbrella broke so he got soaked and we all to go back because he was freezing. It was super windy that night.
2. A group of us after zone conference in front of the Palmyra Stake Center.
3. Me and my companion at zone conference
4. Our district played Pickleball for our P-day activity and an office couple came.
