Another day in paradise

Why hello all you wonderful people who are still reading my emails. These aren't as easy as they look to write but here we are. Hope each of you take a look at yourself and realize the divine potential you have and how you can change the world around you. Many of you have done it for me which I'm very grateful for.

A couple nights ago someone had approached us and ask if Jesus Christ was truly real and what we could tell him that would help him since he's been going through a lot. We got to bear a powerful witness to him of the divinity of the Savior. We went to his appartment and had a brief resto lesson where we put extra emphasis on expressing that we have actually prophets and apostles with the same authority from God that Peter, James, and John had. This morning we ran into him and he explain how what we told him had effected him like nothing else he's heard before.

Last night we visited with this awesome couple who were formerly taught. They were so nice and sweet, they are Catholic but aren't as solid in it because they don't agree with everything they teach. We told them about us and a few general things about the church then talked about the importance of the Book of Mormon. I love meeting people with strong faiths rooted in the Savior.

Until you go on a mission you don't realize just how much your heart will ache for the people that are genuine and would be great members but simple can't see it yet. We've met so many people that I wish could open their eyes and understand the importance of this message, but it's their choice. Sure makes the ones that treasure what you say that more sweet.

As for the title of the email was trying to think of something catchy and that's what my manager would always say to me when I showed up for work lol. There's really nothing to not love being a missionary. At the store this morning we had several people that knew us come and talk with us for a bit. Always feels like I'm back in Utah since I've been here long enough to know just about everyone in town.

Weekly Scripture
Alma 26: 22
This is one of my favorite chapters in the Book of Mormon and when I read it recently this phrase stuck out to me "he that repenteth and exerciseth faith, and bringeth forth good works, and prayeth continually without ceasing—unto such it is given to know the mysteries of God". This is an amazing promise that's given when we do these 4 things. At times some may confidently do the first 3 but undermind the most important and where all answers proceed from.

Well sorry for the extra long email this week sometimes I tend to ramble. Please know how much I love each one of you and know the matchless love your heavenly father has for you. I know each day he extends his hand to support us we just dont always notice it. I know this church is true with all my heart and I love the gospel of Jesus Christ with what it allows me to become. I love how the only way for me to become all that I can is to help others do the same! Have a great week and know I love hearing from all of you!
Sorry didn't quite take any pictures this week we'll see if I end up taking some next week.
