You are my sunshine!

This week was super awesome because we were able to work quite hard this week. I am so proud of my companion for his exceptional Spanish for being in the mission field 5 weeks now. He doesn't know it yet but he speaks quite well!

1. I decided this last week to buy myself a nice Gorro (hat) to keep my poor Gringo face from burning too bad. I guess I miss my baseball hats as well. jaja

2. This week we were making some visits to some of the members that haven't been able to come to church in the time that I have been here. One of them is named Ester Ojeda and she is bed ridden and hasn't been able to come to the church in about a year, but just because she hasn't asked the missionaries to bring her because she actually has a chair but didn't want to ask too much. But this week we were able to push her to the church. She was absolutely so thrilled to see us and I was absolutely so grateful to help her out.

3. As well this last week we were able to invite various people to baptism and it was awesome because my companion was able to do it. We unfortunately didn't get the yes yet but we hope that this next week will be different.

4. This week I was reading a little in the book "Our Search for HAPPINESS" by M. Russel Ballard. It is such a great read and I recommend that you, if you can get it, read it because it is absolutely wonderful and has some great messages.

I really though am just so grateful for all of the blessings that I have felt in my life especially that I was able to continue progressando (progressing). I was reading in Isaiah 9 this morning and just touched me so strongly the words of verses 1-6 but especially verses 2-4 and 6
Isaiah 9:2-4 and 6
2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

3 Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

4 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace

Because really he has broken the yoke, through him we can see the light and we can truly see the light and we can be touched by the spirit that can be ours. I am so grateful for all of the blessing that I have received. I love you all so much and hope that you all have a wonderful week. Really though I thank you all for any prayers that you have offered on behalf of missionaries like me. I love you all so much. HAVE A GREAT WEEK! CHAO!
