This week was absolutely great with my new companion, Elder Bird. He is a machine from Monticello, Utah. He is so excited to be working out here and this week we also had a lot of work to do.
1. This week we put my companion to work on Saturday helping a sister get some cherries from her cherry trees. We got about 20 pounds of cherries down and had our hands nice and purple. Then afterwards in the evening another sister asked us if we could chop a mountain of wood (that's exactly what she asked us too) so now he is officially a professional lumberjack jaja.
2. There was a branch activity for a Concert for the "patrons" and there were a ton of people that came and they asked me if I could sing a song in the concert playing piano. And a song that I kind of know how to play was by Bruno Mars and I tried singing and playing and it went alright jaja. That counts as service, right?
3. Me and my companion were also able to have quite a few contacts and lessons this week. Thankfully my companion is awesome and was able to help tons.
Although I will miss Elder Flora I know that me and Elder Bird will be seeing some miracles soon. This week I was reading in some of my favorite chapters in Alma (Alma 37 - 39) and they are the bomb. Really love the way that Alma teaches his children. I pray you all have a great week. Love you all. CHAO HASTA SEMANA
