FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!!! 🎄Merry Christmas first of all to all my wonderful friends and family who are cool enough to get my letters every week haha. 😂
But also thank you so much for all the love that you all send my way through emails, letters, or prayers. But this week was super great, full of service, caminando (walking) and Contacting. First off on Wednesday we took the bus out to Puerto Montt for an invasion. And no, it's not what it sounds like haha. We have a open house for the chapel in Presidente Ibañez on Saturday. So all the missionaries than can in the zone, Puerto Montt, went out there to contact in that sector with invitations to the open house later that week. But the kicker from this is that it rained but it didn't start until about 40 minutes in. So me and my companions were a ways out and none of us had jackets so we were completely soaked. But all is good. It was pretty funny.
Then after that we had intercambios (exchanges) with the zone leaders. My companions stayed in Puerto Montt with Elder Santi and I went down to Calbuco with Elder Oliver. It was super fun to again work hard and get to know another elder and how he works! And finally today we had a little cumpleaños for an hermana so that's why I have that picture of Elder Santi with the food haha.
I would like all of you (I'm working on this too) to be mindful of how or what we think about when we think of Christmas. It is easy to just think about the gifts or the chances to be with the family. One scripture that I came upon this week was in 2 Nephi chapter 19 about navidad and I would like you all to read this chapter personally or with the family. It really made me grateful for my brother who sacrificed everything for all of us. Other than that, keep smiling and loving the Lord. If any of you ever have questions or a problem I could somehow help with, you all can email me every week and I'll be here. I love you all so much and so does your savior.
CHOW HASTA SEMANA!
