Wow, that was absolutely the fastest week in my mission by far, Holy Guacamole!
Most of all it was very very good. Me and Elder Peña have been working super hard. He is a very interesting and super funny guy. Also his testimony is very, very strong. A few points for the week:
1. Sad point, my super good friend who started in the field with me, Elder Escalera (de bolivia) is on his way home to his house because he has been having lots and lots of back and health problems in the last month. He was in Calbuco 1 while I've been in Calbuco. It's sad, but the Lord has other plans for him right now!
2. Because of this, I will be in a trio with Elder Peña y Elder Grow for the next three weeks and we will be over all of Calbuco. Since Elder Grow has only been here for less than 2 weeks, I will kind of be leading the two sectors. Exciting.
3. This week I have really, really learned first, the importance of Patience and second, the importance of Confidence. When I'm teaching with confidence, my Spanish is a whole lot better. I'll obviously continue to make mistakes because I have only been speaking this language for about 4 and a half months. (this is where the stress to mejorar [improve] is from.)
4. Scripture for this week is in Moroni 8: 2-3 and this isn't just about missionary work. It is also about your calling to live on this earth and help the people that God puts into your path.
I love you all and I know that our Savior loves me and all of you. I have you all in my prayers. If I don't get anything for Christmas, I just want you all to be happy, feeling the spirit and also learning more about the Savior and His life for us. Keep praying, studying and mejorando (improving).
CHOW HASTA SEMANA😁
