This week has been a good week. This week was hard in finding lessons to teach, but we had a few really good lessons with our friends Noli, and Annette. All I hope is that Elder Paul and I were able to invite the Spirit into their hearts. That is all we can ever really hope for. This week we also had some good opportunities for service. We were able to help clean up a local cemetery, that was fun. Yesterday we made some sandwiches and took some food to a group of homeless people which was cool. We didn't know how that was going to go, but when we drove back past them they were handing out the food to each other which made us really happy. This was prompted by the reminder of how much Christ Administered to the homeless.
We also put up American Flags this morning which was really fun. For those of you who know me, I love this country, and respect everything that flag represents! My Patriotism has come out of me throughout the week. There is a Chinook Pilot for the National Guard in our ward, and I have been able to talk to him and learn so much from him. I am so grateful for the country that we live in!
There is a quote that I really love, given by a Navy Seal prior to his death, "You're never out of the fight"(Mike Murphy).
This week I have tried to focus on the Christ-Like-Attribute of humility, and I love Mosiah 3:19. It reminds me that when I act like an idiot, that that is the natural man, which is an enemy of God. And that through humility, we need and can take all that God sees to INFLICT upon us.
I am so grateful for my Heavenly Father, and for the perfect love that He has for me!
