It was a wonderful week. The Russian is coming better and better!
We met a friend that wanted to play some basketball and so we went and played with him. We went to play at the local university. We played and had so much fun. These Russians that were watching us play challenged us to a game. We agreed. We only had 4 players and they had 5. They were trash talking and playing pretty physical. We kept cool. We were winning by like 15 and they said that they wanted a break. They didn't really like us for some reason. During the break Elder Johnson and I decided to go and talk to them and make friends. We did that. They found out that we are Americans and that we are Church Volunteers. They thought that it was so cool. We all became pretty good friends and just chatted about basketball and what teams we like. It really started out rough but then we all became good friends. They want to play basketball all day with us.
We had splits, Zone Conference and Stake Conference. So we had to travel to Saratov. It was good to be back in the hometown. We had a blast on splits. To get to Saratov we take a really small bus that doesnt have enough room for 2 people that are 6'4" we were crammed and couldnt move for 4 hours haha.
