Elder Dyson

"Hey where are you guys from?"

Hello everyone!  This week was a little bit quieter on the lines of craziness in the mission.  But, we did have a lot of repairs in our apartment and then good things with the people we´re teaching.
Since I´ve been here, our shower and calefon (water heater) have not worked very well and neither has our kitchen sink, but now two of the three problems are mostly fixed.  Our kitchen sink still sprays water everywhere, but at least we have good water pressure and hot water the first time we try.
Guillermo, the 82-year-old, came to church this Sunday.  We showed up with a member to bring him to the church and he was ready to come instantly.  He really enjoyed it.  At the end of sacrament meeting, the member (who is from another ward) asked me to teach him to play piano so that he can play for his ward.  We´re going to try to get that to work in our service hours.  In our lesson with Guillermo we invited him to be baptized April 7 and he accepted!  He will be the first baptism in this ward in a year, so we are really excited.
Truly the Lord prepares our paths.  We were looking for some less active members and we knocked on a door.  A man looked out of the top window and told us that she didn´t live there, but then at the end he asked us, in perfect English, where we were from.  We said the United States, and he said "yeah, but where? I´m from Florida".  He told us that he and his wife were looking for a church and asked if anyone could join ours.  We said of course.  We´re going to work more with him and use this wonderful opportunity that the Lord has given us.
I love you all,Elder Knight
