Week 2 - MTC

What's up everybody? This week has also been super busy, but also rewarding. Between class time and studying on my own, I'm putting in like 10 or so hours a day into Khmae. I don't know if I've ever put so much work into learning something, but the progress is incredible. I've already learned over 500 words, can hold a conversation, and lessons are certainly coming a lot easier than they did on day 3. The spiritual side here is also amazing. There's been a lot of great speakers and having so much time to study and ponder things for myself has been a really neat experience. All the guys I'm with here are awesome individuals. The more I get to know them, the more fun we all have. We've had some pretty rad beach volleyball, soccer and spikeball tournaments this week. To sum it all up, it's crazy hard here and it can be stressful at times, but I know that if I'm comfortable and things seem easy I'm probably not progressing as fast as I could. It's been really rewarding and I'm already counting down the days till I leave to Cambodia.
