Elder Proudfoot

The Great and Dreadful Day!

Hey y'all, it's been a good week, hope everyone is doing good! I'll get right down to it!

Monday we had Zone Pday so we went to Midland and played some capture the flag with water balloons and other games. It was a blast, it was good to see some of those missionaries that I may not see again.

Tuesday was our only somewhat open day (we are blessed to be very busy), so we weekly planned. Afterwards, we went to a viewing for a members father's funeral and had dinner with some newer members. We helped our ward mission leader move some stuff into his house, and went on splits with the Elders quorum presidency.

Wednesday we had interviews with President Brennan, and that was awesome! President Brennan is awesome and gave me some great advice. Looking forward to my departing interview with him, he is so full of knowledge it's great! We went and taught our investigator Brandon, who is getting baptized July 30th, and he is doing great. He knows a lot but still has a few gray areas we are working with, but he is desirous to be baptized! We were suppose to help move someone, but it didn't happen, so we went finding and found some super cool hoodrats!!

Thursday we went and helped a baptist church with a food giveaway and then stayed on the east side and helped a member with his lawn, and then taught some lessons and went finding. Our investigator Angie is also lined up and is going to make her day of July 29th!! So we are pumped!

Friday after studies we went and stopped by some referrals and went finding. It was a hot one, in the 90's and super humid, so we were sweating like dogs. Had dinner with some cool members and then saw a favorite less active turning active family the Cummins.

Saturday we helped at a race called "Run Michigan Cheap" and got eaten alive my mosquitoes and then drenched by the rain. We had lessons scheduled all day, so we taught Angie and Cassie and then picked up 3 new investigators who were all awesome. Saginaw is doing so good, we are teaching a ton, and it is a blessing. If Elder Proudfoot ends up training, they will be off to a good start!!

Sunday was good, heard from some good speakers about unconditional love, and had the Rileys come up from Owosso and fed us and the sisters! It was good to see them again!!

Hope everyone has a good week! I got one more email I'll send home before the great and dreadful day, it will be a report on the baptisms and my final week in the field. Love you all and talk to ya later!
