Owosso, MI

Elder Aros

Not to rub it in, but the weather here is awesome!

Hello family and friends! How is everybody doing? I hope all is well back home. I heard its been blistering hot back home so I'm sorry. Not to rub it in but its been rainy, cloudy and pretty cool here. Its been in the 60s and 70s so I guess you could say I've been pretty lucky! Things have been going pretty well here in Owosso! And I think I'm going to just type a summary of my week instead of breaking it up day by day. But I'll make sure to include everything!
Last Monday after bball I went on trade-offs with the district leader Elder Clark in the St. Johns area until Wednesday. It was pretty fun and I learned a lot from him! He is from Clarkston Utah, and grew up on a farm so as you can imagine he was a hard worker! We got along pretty well those couple days and I learned some pretty cool finding tricks! We traded back after our district meeting and me and Elder Aros got back to work in Owosso! All of our potential investigators have shined us, and we can't get a hold of our investigators so we did not get to teach much this past week. I went on trade-offs again on Friday with the zone leader Elder Schetsalaar, but I stayed in Owosso this time. Elder Schetsalaar is from Alpine Utah and played bball and tennis for Lone Peak High. He's such a cool Elder, and I learned tons from him! We found super solid potentials and taught some less actives! So it was a pretty good day! Nobody could pronounce his name so everyone called him Elder Starwars! Sunday was probably the coolest day though and let me say why. We had 8 less actives at church and two investigators!!! So we were pretty excited! Then later that night we got a referral from Bro. Rileys son Chad named Becky Border. He gave us her number and we called her and she was so excited to talk to us and we set up a time to meet with her on Saturday at the church! She has seen "Meet the Mormons" and is super excited to learn more!! We're pretty excited for the opportunity to teach her! Pretty awesome week! Now you got a little taste of what I do, its pretty dang esssiting! Ha ha! I love this gospel and I know its true and that it can help us in EVERY aspect of our lives! Jesus Christ lives and I know he will come again!
Thanks for all the emails and letters! I'm trying to reply to everyone so forgive if I don't! Love you all and I'll talk to ya next week!
