Okay guys how is everyone!?!?! I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe in quarantine if you're in it and staying happy!
My week was a good one!! We had a lot of people cancel on us. That day we had 6 of our 7 lessons cancel so we were like what the crap!!! But hey facebook finding is a good time.
Tuesday - We had district council over zoom and it was awesome. My companion is the district leader and there is 12 of us in our district. It's super cool getting to know everyone. We had a really cool lesson with some people in our branch. We did it in English because that’s all they speak so thats always good!
ALSO crazy thing that day. We had our Carbon Monoxide alarm go off at like 4:00 a.m. We got up and were like "are we gonna die or what?”. We checked it and it said it just malfunctioned but just to be sure we opened up our little balcony door and it was FREEZING! Guys its no bueno, my blanket is trash but it was a good time sleeping in my sweatshirt and sweats.
Wednesday - we had some lessons cancel on us and then had some lessons which was really cool!
Thursday - Thanksgiving!! We called all of the members that day and wished them a happy thanksgiving. In New Mexico, they have strict quarantine rules so we were not allowed to have dinner inside a members home. Instead ward members delivered Thanksgiving dinner to us at the church. As a district (2 companionships couldn’t come) ate some thanksgiving dinner and played hackie sack the rest of the night and ninja and then got to call our families! Super cool!
Friday - Okay guys today so sick i got to have a lesson with my cousin, Josh Sanders because he speaks Tagalog! We have someone we were teaching from the Philippines and he doesn't really have the best English so we had Josh hop on with us and he could teach him in Tagalog! It was so cool to have Josh help. THEN we had another lesson with this guy we met at a food truck who gave us free food and this was the first time I invited someone to be baptized!! We felt the spirit during this lesson and it was dope although he did say no... but we are going to meet with him again!
Saturday - we had 6 lessons cancel on us but then ended with one good one so yea that was dope
Sunday - got to partake of the sacrament and had a really good Come Follow Me study.

We are teaching people from Mexico, Argentina, Ecuador, Guatemala, Florida and then obviously here in Hobbs. If there's anything I have learned it's that the work of the Lord will not stop! Guys its so cool! Everyday we just need to put our trust in God and thank him for the opportunity for being able to take the ride in the first place! You got this!
