Hello everybody i hope you guys all had a great week!!
This week if you wanna just skip to the spiritual part then pictures thats fine with me haha
okay okay okay
So we had the opportunity to find a new person her name is Rosa! shes such a cool lady and she says she believes that the book of Morman is the Word of God so hopefully we can work with that! she lives pretty far away so its a good time driving over to her house and seeing literally nothing but oil pumps for as far as you can see haha kinda cool.
this week we had a lesson planned with this lady named Mini we got there and she said that she was at the hospital the day before, so we ended up asking how she was and we taught a little about a priesthood blessing instead and we were able to give her a blessing of healing!
umm yea now we can end with a spiritual thought yee yee
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT (READ THIS PART)
Okay guys the atonement is literally the greatest act on this earth this week i tried to focus hard on learning more about it theres a quote from President Nelson that says that the way to change our desires is through the atonement of Jesus Chirst. Now I know growing up i didn't understand how to use the atonement for my life. Well something that came in my studies was a little talk about this, the question was
Just how much faith do I need for the atonement of Christ to work for me?’
In other words, how much faith do I need to receive salvation?
well read alma 34:14-17
now listen to this
“So the combination of faith in Christ plus faith unto repentance is vitally important. That concept is one of the greatest insights we have into the importance of simple, clear faith—faith sufficient to repent. Apparently faith great enough to move mountains is not required; faith enough to speak in tongues or to heal the sick is not needed; all that we need is just enough faith to recognize that we have sinned and to repent of our sins, to feel remorse for them, and to desire to sin no more but to please Christ the Lord. Then the greatest miracle of all, the Atonement, whereby Christ rescues us from our deserved punishment, is in effect in our behalf”
okay guys I know we just need faith unto repentance and faith in jesus christ for the atonement to work for us!! Alrighty everybody i hope you have a great week! just remember this race is a race of endurance so stick with it! answers will come peace will come! they may not come on your time but they will always come ON TIME! just gotta keep on trying and pur our shoulders to the wheel
