Take your child to work day
OK wow another week in good ol Hobbs New Mexico!! I'm loving it here and this week has probably been the best week on the mission so far!
Okay so we had a mission tour this transfer and that's basically where a general authority comes and talks to the mission! It lasted for three days so Wednesday Thursday Friday
Okk but starting off with last Tuesday
But anyways Tuesday was so sick we had some service at a house by the high school football stadium and they take high school sports seriously! It's huge! I'll try and get a picture this week Then we got call from the sisters and they had someone who wanted a blessing! So we went over and I was able to anoint the oil on this lady's head and it was amazing!! The sisters that were there with us were such great examples to me of Chirst like love, theady we were helping just wasn't having a good day and one of the sisters was just so kind and loving and asked if she needed a hug and it really made me think of what christ would have done in that situation
Okay still Tuesday! We then go over to this house for more service and this lady's like okay here's some hammers we're remodeling this house so go crazy so we just starting hitting the walls and the ceiling with hammars basically every 10 yea Olds dream come true it was awesome
Wednesday: Just when I thought my week had peaked on Tuesday I was wrong! Okay we had the mission tour start today so sick it was just over zoom something cool from today was that I should give the lord Griffin and let his will swallow mine! Super cool! Elder makay starting talking to this sister and asked for her first name then used her first name and was like leave beihind (insert name here cause idk) super cool
Then after that me and my comp were feeling super pumped and he felt prompted to take a walk and we did and ended up helping this guys move trees and chop them up in our church cloths so cool! He said he would come to church but didn't so that's no bueno
Thursday more mission tour! The quote of today was take your child to work day! I thought that was cool cause that's bascually what a mission is is being able to see heavenly fathers work right in front of me!
Friday! More mission tour but today me and my comp got to have companion study with a member of the seventy elder vilanueva and his wife! So cool! He gave a missionary devotional before so it was cool to actually meet him and it was all in Spanish still working on it haha but I'm getting there haha
Saterday
Okay today we bascisy helped the branch president tile all morning and he gave us I hop and firehouse subs then we went over to a memwbes house right after and ate some burgers and fajitas haha I also ate some peppers (because if you eat peppers you'll learn Spanish corralation=causation but not really) and so it was a good time to say the least and I was very full
Sunday was awesome! Go to go to both wards e glish and Spanish and we had like 6 people come to the English ward that we invited! Super cool! Pray for them please!
Okk wow congrats if you got through that umm yea just want to say the church is true! Study the book of Mormon and build your testimonys!
