It was a pretty good week. Except I have been sick most of this past week. That's not fun. But other than that it's been good. We had stake conference during the past couple days and it was really good. Elder Miskin (I don't know if that's how you spell his name) of the Seventy came and spoke a couple times and it was absolutely incredible. All of the talks were super good, and the Spirit was very strong. One thing Elder Miskin talked about was how none of us are perfect. Even the leaders of the church, even the prophet himself, are all ordinary people who God works through to build His kingdom on the earth. He quoted President Oaks who once said, when answering questions while visiting a mission, "I'm just an ordinary man, struggling to bear the weight of an extraordinary mantle". None of us are good enough on our own, but through Jesus Christ, we can all be cleansed and qualified for whatever tasks God may ask of us. That's about it for this week I think. This church is God's kingdom on the earth. He is actively leading us through personal revelation, and revelation given to the prophet. The heavens are open today. Communication from God, ministering angels, and miracles are all a reality in the restored Gospel and Priesthood of Jesus Christ found only in His church, even the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I testify of this truth in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ Himself. I love you all.
