4 days down in the MTC so far. Its been interesting to say the least. We have been SO busy. We are already speaking Spanish all day every day. The Gift of Tongues is 100% legit. It's been such a blessing. We have started to even PRAY in Spanish, which is super weird but in a way it feels lot more personal.
My companion, Elder Rice, is from Iowa. He enjoys playing the guitar and swimming. He has two siblings, both older. He and I have been getting along splendidly.
I miss all of y'all. As interesting as the MTC is and as important as the mission is, I'm homesick. But that's just a part of being a missionary. As my dad always says, "It's all part of the ride."
Saturday's are my Preparation Day, so that's when my next email will come!! Email me back with questions if you want.
Anyways, the Gospel is true, so what else matters?
