Well this week has been interesting. Like I mentioned last week, Elder Ames went home so I got a new companion. He is from Brasil (Sander), so he only speaks spanish and portuguese. The subject of this email "The Soldier" is about him. He's a good missionary but he just seems to have a hard time showing emotion, he doesn't smile very often or laugh, but I think I'm starting to get through to him a little bit because he's smiling a little more the past day or two.
Anyway, RILEY AND SANDER, wow! I'm so freaking happy for you guys, and so proud of you guys. Good luck Riley leaving this week, and good luck Sander waiting 3 1/2 months! ;)
I had a really cool experience this week, with a inactive sister in our branch. We stopped by to visit her, and taught a lesson about testimonies. At the end I asked her if she had a testimony of the gospel and of Jesus Christ, and she said that she didn't know. So my companion and I bore our testimonies, and then asked her to say the closing prayer. As she was saying the closing prayer she started crying. The spirit was so strong!
To close I want to challenge all of you guys to invite someone to church this week, it doesn't have to be an entire lesson aboout the Gospel, just invite them to church. And wanted to leave you my testimony, in Spanish.
Love you guys, until next week,
