Hola everybody,
Well I haven't been sick this week! Yay! About singing in front of the whole MTC for the devotional...we auditioned and after the audition they said that all the spots were full for this week, and they would try to put us in next week's devotional. So we'll see if we end up actually doing it or not. :)
Anyway, on a more important note... Elder Holland is coming to the CCM tomorrow!!! I am so excited, we have an hour and a half long devotional with him! In preparation for him coming, here's one of my favorite quotes from Elder Holland that I recently re-read: "If for a while the harder you try, the harder it gets, take heart. So it has been with the best people who ever lived." I know this is so true. We all have trials in our lives. Sometimes we are trying our hardest to stay faithful and trust in God and it just seems to be getting harder. When that happens we just need to remember that God has a plan, and that the trials we are going through are to make us stronger. The true measure of our character is how we react to those trials. In the famous words of Kelly Clarkson, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, stand a little taller"😊
