Wow what a good week to end the transfer out here in Roswell! It is sad to see it end.
We got our transfer calls.... Elder Mismash is going to Lubbock to a spanish branch and he is pumped! I get to stay here in Roswell, NM and train Elder Montgomery!! I am so excited for the opportunity to train again and see how the work progresses!
We did mountains of service again this week and enjoyed helping out. We got taken out to dinner by Penny Conkling and turns out it was her first date with this guy. We showed up and she said her "friend" was coming to eat too. All the sudden they are introducing themselves and he is saying thanks for inviting him to the date and said it was a little weird that we were there. Oh well, hahah it was great and we shared a cool message with him after that he seemed to like us.
A cool experience was on Sunday, we set up a fireside with Penny and her fam to study Come Follow Me.' She brought her friend Alma who isn't a member and she had some amazing questions and interest. It was a special experience and it is amazing how much a campfire can open up people's hearts!
As a proper send off to Elder Mismash, we bought belt buckles today and then did the gallon milk challenge and lemme tell ya- I will never do that again!
I have been reading the stories of Ammon and the sons of Mosiah and they are so cool to read again! It is so cool to see how the Lord commands them to "show good examples" so that they can be instruments in his hands. Little by little, through afflictions, patience, and faith, they are able to convert many people unto the Lord. It's amazing to see how much affect our examples have on others!! I Love yall!!
