Cake Week
I wanna start out by saying "Thank You so so so much to all of those who sent me kind birthday notes. You are all so awesome and supportive and I appreciate that. You each made my birthday super special!
THis week was incredible! Our investigator Silvia accepted to Word of Wisdom lesson and hasn't slipped yet! She has a big problem with it but is kicking butt now. She came to church on Sunday and loved it! She is progressing really fast and loves the message. We gave her homework too: which of us two elders are going to baptize her... hopefully we have an answer when we visit her tomorrow:).
Our new investigator, Lidia, is so awesome. We speak english to each other and she loves all the same country music I do. The miracle is the day before we accidentally knocked on her door, thinking it was the Patriarchs, and she told us she had asked God to know his will, to know if she should keep being Catholic, and for a way to practice her english because she hasn't been able to for 2 years now. Obviously, she is killing it too. She went to a baptism with us on Saturday and to church with us on Sunday as well. She was chatting with everyone in the ward and she said she felt a different feeling really strong. She is awesome and we will try and put a date for baptism on Wed. So many good things coming together.
As for 19th BDay- 4 fams threw parties for me. They are all so awesome and have so much love! The last party was today on my Pday and as traditions has it we threw flour, water, and colored paper. It was literally insane and so much fun! I love Mexican Traditions!
Oh funny story…. this week we had two robbers behind our house at 2 am and our kitchen door to the outside was open. We had free ties waiting for him but he stuck to the battery when the neighbor ran out haha.
