Dieciocho de Septiembre Ward Chillàn-Ñuble Stake

Elder Azure Grahame

Being A Disciple of Christ

Today is a nice calm day in the city of Chillán not much to note today in the streets. Not much to talk about this week. It was a pretty good week. We taught lots of people but this week was dedicated to more personal reflection. My time is running out and I still have so much left to do in the 5 months left. So I've decided this upcoming to week to really dedicate myself for the rest of my mission so that I can end how the Lord wants me to end. So for this end I have decided that I will be going to BYU Provo for my schooling. I'm going to try to arrange with friends what happens but I'm not too worried about the minor detials. I've prayed and I feel and know that BYU is the decision for my personal life.

So what happened this week?...

Well.. one of the people we're teaching has had problems with smoking. With the help of the other companion in the district we helped him to make a plan to quit smoking and HE FOLLOWED IT. He went from around 40 to 0 in one week. So that's really exciting. He's progressing really well for the 11.

In other news we had to pass another person to the ward next to us because she moved there. Quite sad but it's what happens. I hope that we can go to her baptism.

This week has been a scavenger hunt for new people teach. We find some really great people and we're working with a family that seems really cool. I really hope that they can progress and come to church because if not we might have to drop them. We also are working with lots more people to come to church. IT's the hardest part of helping people to progress, getting the out of their house and to church. We invite people constantly to church because it's the way that they can progress. But I'm really excited for this week because it'll be a new opportunity to find new people.

I hope you all have a great week and keep studying and working hard in the Lord's cause. Love you.
