San Vicente - Talcuhuano

Elder Federico Barboza

Some people have to wait

I had to do some things on the computer for the mission so I don't have much time to write. I have to write a letter to President every week and so I put into google translate and shasta. I'm really sorry I can't write more in depth. I've only got an hour. Next time I'll manage my time better.

This week we experience the miracle of Saint Vincent. MAXI AND MARTINA ARE BAPTIZED !!! It was an experience that I will never forget. They had attended the church for years and years. His parents forbade us to go and teach them and 3 months ago the bishopric was to get permission or talk about when you can be baptized. Maxi's parents said in December they were going to think and see. During a day two weeks ago we received a call that his parents gave him permission to be baptized. We set an appointment at a member's house to teach and from the first lesson we learned that they had enough knowledge and were ready to be baptized.

Then the day of his baptisms was one of the most spiritual experiences. Those two children were waiting 4 years to be baptized. Now you do not have to wait. They were baptized and almost the entire neighborhood was baptized. After their baptism the leaders of the organizations sang "If I listen with my heart" everyone felt the Spirit so strong that there was no person who was not crying, even their parents and their relatives who came. With all the work of the neighborhood with them, it made me think that through the members, they are going to stay very active, possibly serve missions.

I'll try the things with the shoes. Ingrown toenails are plaguing me and not for me picking my toes but because they fix it for three months and then it grows back ingrown. So there's that. Don't worry about it. I'm getting to be a pro at fixing my feet,
