San Vicente - Talcuhuano

Elder Ethan Ashton

It's Temple Time

The temple has officially opened. We haven't gone yet but we have plans to go this week for sure with the family we're teaching. It's going to be awesome. I've heard so many awesome stories about the Spirit inside from members who are actually working in the temple. It's something very spectacular to be a missionary during the time of the open house. I'm so excited to be a part of this event and even more grateful for the trust that Heavenly Father has been putting in me espcially during this time when people are preparing to have a temple so close to us. It's so amazing.

Yeah but this week we didn't have a baptism. Alejandra who we planned to have a baptism isn't quite ready yet. This week she will be ready and we'll have a baptism. I'm super excited for this baptism. Next we'll be working more exclusively with the dad of the family and then the last child because the last child is a bit of a stinker (he has 16 years, What do you expect).

So today are transfers and I'm staying here with my boi Elder Ashton. We have so much to do in our ward. We had a zone attack in our area on Saturday and now we have a great cunatitiy of people to visit for this week. But here's a funny story. Today we're not allowed to work because it starts the festival of independece. And tomorrow we're only allowed to visit members and we have to be in the house at 7 and can't sleep until 11 so 4 hours to clean our house (we cleaned don't worry mom).

Almost one year out!!!!!! hey how cool is that.
