Elder Borja

Hola, this week was awesome! So, on Wednesday I received my new companion. He is from Mexico and his name is Elder Borja. He served 2 months in Mexico City because he was waiting for his visa, so I don’t have to do a full 12 weeks training with him. He is an awesome missionary and he works super hard. It has been interesting to see what things we can apply here in Dajabon from what he learned in Mexico City. So far, the lessons we have had together have been great. I can feel my Spanish improving more and the people we are finding are being more receptive to our message. We had a really good week of finding people. We found a kid named David who is 19 years old. He has been reading the Book of Mormon. We also found Rafael and Helani who are boyfriend and girlfriend and Carlos David who is Haitian and his wife. I am excited to see the progression in these people we found. I love this gospel and I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and he guides his church today. I know that we can be blessed as we follow our Savior and his restored gospel on this planet. There is only one way and it is the way through Jesus Christ our Savior. I know we need to act now because Christ will come again. God gave us a book to help us prepare for the second coming and this book is named the Book of Mormon. I invite everyone to read this book and actually read to know in your heart that every verse is true. And after you do that I invite all of you to pray and ask if it’s true. I can promise you that you will receive an answer if you ask with faith and all your heart. You will receive an answer that the book is true and Christ’s church is here today and it is named the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
