Hola, this week went well! We have an investigator that is progressing pretty well right now. He has a hard time understanding and remembering things but you can tell he is feeling the spirit. We sing songs with him to help him feel the spirit. Also, this week we taught him the word of wisdom and it was so cool. He told us that he drinks coffee but right after we told him he can’t drink it he told us he would never drink it again. It was super cool. He is a man with a lot of faith. Things are going good here. It’s still pretty hot here. Some crazy and cool things happened this week. First my companion’s pillow ripped. It was so funny. It ripped and we had all the fans on so feathers got everywhere. They were all over the apartment. Haha! We are still cleaning them up. And today we got the closest you can get to Haiti. It was super cool. There is like a bridge that’s blown up but you still can see Haiti. We all bought Haiti hats on the last Pday and me and Elder Walker and Elder Henrickson gave our hats to some Haitians that we saw on the other side of the border. We literally could talk to them. Haha! I think they probably weren’t supposed to be that close but they were. Haha! I love this mission. I have a year and so I got to burn a shirt it was awesome. I love this gospel and I know that Jesus Christ is our savior and I am glad for the experiences I have had this far in my year in here in Republica de Domincana.
