If we hold on to what we know about the gospel we can stay on the right path

Hey, this week was awesome! So we have two new Elders here in Dajabon. Their names are Elder Walker and Elder Henrickson. Yes there is another Elder Walker in Dajabon. Haha! We are the only Walkers in the mission. But I guess you could say now that the Walkers are taking over Dajabon. Haha! The new Elders are both really cool. I am excited to get to know them a little more. Elder Henrickson is from Idaho. He is my brother in the mission because he is also a son of Elder Kyle like me. And Elder Walker is from Utah. But we are not family. At least we don’t think so. But I guess it’s possible that we are fifth cousins. Haha! This week went very well for missionary work. We had a girl named Vivana come to church. She is 14 years old and she is a Haitian and she lives with a Dominican family. She is awesome and she stayed for the full three hours and by the end she had a friend which is really good. It is always important that an investigator has a friend in church. Also, today we introduced the Mercado to the other missionaries. It was a good time. I bought a sweet shirt that is from Africa. You can find everything in the Mercado. It’s awesome! Haha! I will like to end with my testimony that I know this church is true. I know with all my heart that this is the Savior’s gospel today. He lives and he guides us through a living prophet named Russel M. Nelson. I am grateful that I know these things because I can say it has blessed my life. Remember it is always important to do the right and correct things that keep you on Jesus path. Hold on to the iron rod. Life is hard but if we hold on to what we know about the gospel we can stay on the right path.
I love you all,
Elder Walker
