The key to ministering is the Book of Mormon

Hola, this week was awesome! I am staying here in Villa Gonzalez with Elder Jones. This week we focused a lot on how to minister with the Book of Mormon. We contacted a lot of people this week by using the Book of Mormon. It was so awesome to read with people the introduction. As we read the introduction with them you could feel the power of the Book of Mormon preaching by itself to our investigators. As a mission, Presidente Castillo wants us to minister. Which is basically teaching like Jesus Christ, loving people and serving others, but the key to ministering is the Book of Mormon. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints we should always want to share this beautiful book with the world. As members we know the power this book has and all the amazing things we are taught through this book. For example, the plan of salvation and the atonement. We need to share this book with the world. The prophet has announced we need to minster to others. The best way of doing that is through the Book of Mormon. It’s the key. This week one of our investigators that is progressing came to church with us and he stayed all three hours. His name is John. He is 15 years old and he is way smart. He has a baptismal date for the 2nd of June and he has been reading the Book of Mormon. We also have another investigator that has been coming to church named Yoana. She is about 24 years old. She has two babies and she’s not married to the father. But in one of the classes she rose her hand and started talking about how we left her the Law of Chasity pamphlet. She had read it and just started to bawl while she was talking in the class. The spirit was so strong. She is progressing a ton. We are excited to talk to her more this week.
