Elder Louis Jeune

Hola, this week was awesome! I felt the spirit a ton this week. The work was amazing here with my new companion in Gurabo. He is sweet! He is from Haiti and his name is Elder Louis Jeune. I have learned so much from him in just 5 days. I can feel my Spanish improving more and more each day. He is teaching me Spanish and I am teaching him English. Haha! Seriously though the work has been awesome and we found six new investigators and we put a ton a dates for baptisms. When we taught this week I felt way more comfortable when we were teaching our investigators. The lessons flowed very well. I am pumped for my weeks to come here with Elder, Louis Jeune. Also in my district one of the Sisters is training a newbie. It was weird to see it at a different point of view. Sometimes I get worried that I’m not learning enough Spanish. But as you keep working the Lord will bless you. I am so grateful for the love that Christ has for us. He loved us so much that he died for us. I am also grateful for the opportunity of serving a mission. It is really cool to see people you love progress in the Lord’s gospel. One of our converts me and Elder Kyle baptized passed the sacrament this week. The church is true. I know that our Savior Jesus Christ did indeed restore his church through the prophet Joseph Smith. And that church lives to this day and it is named the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter
Day Saints.
