Hey Everybody!!! Hows life?! Send me emails! I wanna hear about your lives! Send pictures of stuff you have going on. I wanna hear from yall!!
Tuesday: Tad Callister came and spoke to us that night. We said our last goodbyes to the Boyos! It was sad but they got work to do elsewhere. I stayed up till 2019! 🤙
Wednesday: We met with our TRC who's name is Emerald. We talked about how she can strengthen her relationship with God and about prayer. We had a workshop that afternoon which was good. Brother Abadillo (ah-buh-de-o) talked to me about the importance of role plays and said that I was taking them too seriously. The Boyos left today which was sad. The noobs came in and they're pretty cool. We got a Canadian! He's pretty lit.
Thursday: Not much happened that I can remember. We got our flight schedules. Guess who's Travel Leader?? That's right. Yours truly. I'm responsible for getting about 15 other people from Utah to Georgia and then more from Georgia to Arkansas so that'll be interesting. Apparently I fit the criteria since I'm from Georgia I'm supposed to know the airport better but whatever. I cant turn Down my assignment.
Friday: Today was tough. I was reading and found this scripture to help me.
"Now when our hearts were depressed and we were about to turn back behold the Lord comforted us and said: Go amongst thy brethren...and bear with Patience thine afflictions and I will give into you success"
This scripture tells me that if we have faith in God we can be comforted from our trials and he'll help us get through them.
Saturday: I had a very powerful experience which I'm not going to share. We had another lesson with Joe which went well. I got a cold so I couldn't talk much. We met a new investigator named Hunter who is REALLY into real estate. That was interesting.
Sunday: I was still sick but went anyways. Me and Elder Christensen taught a lesson in District Council. I met with the Branch President which went well. I dared Elder Christensen to get a sisters email and he actually went through with it so that was funny. She gave it to him but he said hes probably never going to email her so that's interesting. We got to hang with Elder Moran and Elder William's who are pretty cool. Elder Moran is from Mississippi and we talked about guns and stuff which was cool. We watched "Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration".
Monday: We met with Hunter again. That could've gone better. Read in Moroni Chapter 7 where he talks about how to recognize the Spirit which I'll share.
16 For behold, the Spirit of Christ is given to every man, that he may know good from evil; wherefore, I show unto you the way to judge; for every thing which inviteth to do good, and to persuade to believe in Christ, is sent forth by the power and gift of Christ; wherefore ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of God.
17 But whatsoever thing persuadeth men to do evil, and believe not in Christ, and deny him, and serve not God, then ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of the devil; for after this manner doth the devil work, for he persuadeth no man to do good, no, not one; neither do his angels; neither do they who subject themselves unto him.
At dinner I saw a good friend of mine, Jacob Carroll, from Georgia. That was really cool to see him! Hes going to Japan! We talked for a little while before we had to go to class. We did some role plays and demos there which was a very spiritual experience.
I got all day so email me! I got stamps and letters now so send me your address if you want a letter. My address is going to change in the next few days so I won't put it in here.
MVP of the week: Brother Marley Perkins for sending me a box of snacks with a letter! That really helped me get through the week. Thank you so much! I really appreciate you and your family so much!!!
