This week the Canadian Legend Dies-he departs tomorrow for Barbados then Thursday for Canada.
I'm grateful for the experience I've had to serve with him He's taught me a lot and I wish him the absolute best in the future. I will never forget his laugh or the way he said "Together." He has become a real friend and I will look to his example of missionary work.
For the transfer I've been switched to Bellview near Fort-de-France, the Capitol in Martinique. I'll be with Elder Carlson. He's been out about 3 months so together we can probably form understandable French. I'm very excited for this next transfer.
We had a slower week with finding new investigators. We did, however, pick up a new Ami named Dominic. She's a member referral and she's come to church 3 times already. She's really nice.
The rest of the week was contacting and trying to see Guy who is getting into really good reading habits of the Livre de Mormon. We didn't have a chance to see that amazing family because the Mom had surgery and has been resting. We have an appointment tonight!! Overall I'm loving missionary work. I'm so glad to be here.
