Elder Kurtis Ballard

Bike Week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you're thinking because of my title of this email. Yes I'm on bikes and we will be for the rest of this transfer. Bikes are hard but fun. There is this hill we nicknamed Mt. Diablo. It's super hard to get up but on the way down you hit like Mach 1! And we have to get over it at least 3 times a day because it's right by our house. Also Elder Ballard has been showing me all the sweet jumps around our area so I'm really living the dangerous life.

Also big news-the first Pizza Hut opened up in Guadeloupe. Of course we were there for the grand opening weekend (pics included) with the Zone leaders.

Also, in the photo section is a sunset, and how many fans does it take for 3 people to sleep in Guadeloupe?

Yesterday was amazing Moi et Elder Griffin (mtc comp) went on exchanges and went contacting. It was nerve wracking because we are both newbies But we contacted 2 people. One of them had been given a Book of Mormon back in 2010 and she was interested to meet this Saturday. The other one was a family so that was exciting. Then we taught a Haitian women named Yorlette. We taught her the Restoration Of Jésus-Christ and we invited her to be baptized and she said yes. Next week we'll go back and we will try to set a baptismal date. We also set a bunch of appointments with other AMIS so it was a very faith promoting experience. The French is COMING!!!!

Anyways hope everyone had a great week. LOVE YOU ALL! AND GOD LOVES YOU EVEN MORE!

Elder Casady

BTW mom, I love your email this week. The concert looks crazy and Claire looks so pretty. She's growing up the fastest if you ask me.
