This week was cool. Elder Steed and I are doing great. We are back out working like normal. I still have stitches but it doesn't slow me down at all.
We've been doing a fair amount of contacting recently, which has been super fun. The goal is get out of the comfort zone--which is more easily said than done. We've been going to bus stops and the marchés (markets) here in Lamentin. We've been waking up earlier than usual so we can talk to people in the early morning at the bus stops and stuff.
We also have been doing a lot of house or apartment shopping. Président Herrington wants the sisters moved into a different part of their area. So I've been reading these apartment contracts in French.... Let's juts say I have a long way to go before I open my real estate company in France. They are hard to understand.
The branch is doing great. The last couple of weeks we've been having great attendance at church 85-95 people a week! Its been incredible!
I met this really really nice lady from Central Africa this week. She was amazing--such a humble woman. I finally feel a true love for the people. It's something I've been working on is just trying to love the people no matter what.
That's pretty much all. I hope everyone has a great week!
This cat we "buried." RIP Bolt.
Maxim, the son of Philippe and Gladys (super cute right?!)
