It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas!

*Just a disclaimer*

In no way, shape, or form does it feel like Christmas time here. IT'S TOO HOT! I feel like I'm sweating all the time even in the Shower!!

So this last week was tiring. Elder Johnson and I have many responsibilities that usually would fall to senior missionaries... But we don't have any of those so this week we closed an apartment and spent 18.59 hours in traffic going to and fro solar shade places!!!!!!! Don't ask why.
It's all slowly killing me though not being able to get out and go contacting as much as I would like!!

After all that Jazz we had some great lessons!!

Phillipe and Gladys are both stoked for their baptisms! They had their interviews and we are all good to go for this Saturday. I get butterflies just thinking about their baptisms. They are the coolest people!! Phillipe said that Christmas when all the Family is there that he's gonna share the Gospel with all off them!

With Guy, he has a baptismal date for the 30th and he just said he will live the Word of Wisdom and keep the Law of Chasity which is huge for him So I think he's legit!!!

With all this talk about baptism it makes me want to share a spiritual thought:

In 1 Nephi 8 the Tree of Life Vision in verse 12 we read what happens as Lehi partakes of the fruit of the tree of life.

12 And as I partook of the fruit thereof it filled my soul with exceedingly great joy; wherefore, I began to be desirous that my family should partake of it also; for I knew that it was desirable above all other fruit.

This Joy that fills his soul is the Love and the Blessing of God. In Chapter 5 of Alma verse 62 we read:

62 I speak by way of command unto you that belong to the church; and unto those who do not belong to the church I speak by way of invitation, saying: Come and be baptized unto repentance, that ye also may be partakers of the fruit of the tree of life.

At the end of the verse we read how we can become partakers of the Tree of life. How we can be filled with an exceedingly great joy.... Baptism

That is why I'm so excited for Phillipe, Gladys, and Guy. Because I know they will be blessed and happier than ever before!

Love you all. Have a great week!

Love,
Elder Casady
