Elder Johnson

A Slower Week

So this week I realized I haven't told anyone about what happened to Elder Peterson, my 2nd son. He actually went to Guadeloupe about a week into this transfer because another Elder went home in Guadeloupe. They needed to fill the gap and sent my boy Elder Peterson.

In other news Elder Johnson from Alberta and I are doing great. We've had to do lot of senior couple things recently and it's been hard to find the time to go contacting but when we find the time it's been awesome. I said the week has been slow only because I'm not getting out there as much but we've been having some pretty cool success recently.

We taught that amazing family this last week the law of tithing. The lesson went great and at the end Elder Johnson said, "Phillipe, after your'e baptized will you and your family keep the law of tithing?" To which Phillipe replied, "I'm already paying tithing."

Don't even ask me why they aren't baptized. It's a long story.

I wanna close with a great scripture I read this week:

Mosiah 2:17 Et voici, je vous dis ces choses afin que vous appreniez la sagesse ; afin que vous appreniez que lorsque vous êtes au service de vos semblables, vous êtes simplement au service de votre Dieu.
(Translation: And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.)

I love that scripture and all of you.
Have a great week,
Elder Casady

Weekly planning can get pretty boring sometimes
