This week was a bit of a rough one for us. Our area is going through some dificultades. We basically are starting from scratch because the people that we had, just weren't progressing. We've been searching for new people, but once we find them, it's like almost impossible to re-find them. They are never home. Not to mention that all of our citas were falling thru this week. It was definitely pretty frustrating. Especially because we don't get a ton of time to proselyte and when we do, everything falls thru. We talked to this one boy in the street this week who has like the saddest life ever! He said that he had just gotten beaten up by a bunch of other neighborhood kids. He told us that his parents beat him and basically torture him. He spends a ton of time locked in his room while the rest of the family goes out and gets ice cream and to do other fun things. His parents drench him in ice cold water and then throw him outside the house. Oh, and he is 6 years old. It was really sad to think that this was this kids life! It's frustrating wanting to help him, but knowing that there isn't a whole lot we can do. We´re going to go try and visit his family this week though.
Well, that's a wrap up of my week. We did put 3 more people with fecha, so that was a little bright spot. Hopefully they'll progress. In other news, Oscar is on fire! He just enrolled in institute and he's getting the priesthood. He wants to go on a mission someday. So, go Oscar!
I was pretty busy this week with health stuff. A lot of cases with the sisters for some reason (the awkward ones if you know what I mean). We also started our mission-wide volleyball cup today and we won our first game! It was pretty fun. The hermanas almost made us lose, but we pulled it out in the end. Also, they changed a bunch of rules so we can't spike, and that basically makes me a useless player haha. It was still fun.
