KLK mi gente?

Todo esta bacan aqui en Piura, todo tranquilo. This week was a great week. We finally had another baptism. His name is Felipe. He's 11 and his dad is the first person that we baptized. It was a great baptism. It has been awesome to see the impact that the gospel has made in their lives these past three months.

Its pretty crazy its December and its almost Christmas. We did a lot of service this week. We painted 2 houses, and helped a family move, by hand because there's no moving trucks here. We literally carried the fridge the oven and ALL of their other heavy stuff from their old house to their new house haha.

Can't believe it's already December. It honestly doesn't feel like Christmas at all. Nothing changes here in Peru. No one's decorating and the weather is the complete opposite from back home. The Christmas music is different, so it honestly just feels like any old month. The only thing that has been different is that the people here like to eat this fruit cake thing called paneton for Christmas, except it's really gross. So, Im going to be eating a lot of that this month.

This is my last week of official missionary training and my last week with Elder Guzman. It's a little sad. I'll miss him, but Im also excited to meet my next companion. It's been crazy to see how much I have learned in just 3 months. I've definitely seen the Lord's hand in my life. Have a great week!

Chaufa,
Elder Andelin

PS: Sending pics of a scripture case I bought. Someone here makes these!
