I’m so glad to hear that your lives are so fun and stuff. I love you guys so much. Hopeton is going good. The missionaries organized a music night for Friday. Cross your fingers and hope that it goes well. This week honestly seems like a big blur. In weeks past Elder Wirthlin has told me the entire story of the dragon ball z series. I now feel much more capable of fully achieving supersaiyan. I have also become a vegan. Just kidding I’m an AMERICAN!
Last week in the morning we went to the ZOO in Santa Cruz. The zoo itself was lame but the trip and lunch and everything was really fun. They had 2 lions and a rabbit and 3 snakes and a dog and a donkey and 6 monkeys and a croc and a buffalo.
I have been reading my scriptures way more this past week. It has truly helped me have greater desires to pray and greater desires to serve. I’m really excited about this family we teach on Sundays. Their names are Owen, Janet, and Onsonaville. Onsonaville is 14. They are really interested in the Book of Mormon. They are so nice and they are our friends. Transfer calls are this week and I am very mixed on my emotions. Part of me is ready to go and leave Hopeton. The other part feels like I have some unfinished business to take care of. Either way I am so anxious for that call.
From my readings in the book of Jeremiah I’ve learned that if we simply just follow the commandments that we will be protected and led to safety by the Lord. From my readings in Corinthians I have learned that unwavering faith in Christ will bring forth peace and guidance. From my reading in Mosiah I have learned that no matter how far we have drifted or how bad of a thing we have done that there is a second chance for us, and "as often as my people repent will I forgive them their trespasses against me". And from my reading in the Doctrine and Covenants, I’ve felt a greater sense of duty to Christ and the church. Guidance and protection from the most High!
