It looks like I will be staying in Mandeville with Elder Riding for another transfer. We are teaching this really cool guy named Gary. There are a couple of guys named Gary we talk to but this one is cooler. Every lesson we have with him, Elder Riding and I just click with him and teach beast mode lessons. I call him Gary on the stairs. He is a security guard and he sits on the stairs. We are teaching him tomorrow at the church. We are going to show him the Restoration movie. I think that it’s kind of funny any time missionaries talk about that movie because I remember once in Sister Stockman’s class when I was younger, she played that movie for us and I slept through the whole thing.
We are also teaching a family this evening who we hope to put on date for baptism but we are not sure.
One thing we started doing is sending spiritual/motivational texts to this member who is struggling. It’s really cool because it makes us think about others more.
Now that I look back on it my time as a missionary has gone by fast. I think I’ve learned a lot. I hope so. We are trying to do a lot of member work. We have been told that we can be more productive/effective as we try to find people to teach through the members.
I got this sleeping cap I wear at home and it’s so comfortable. Living in Jamrock. I dropped the bench press bar on my face. I have a tough guy scar and a sleep cap. Now I just look like a straight up boss.
