P-day HAKA

Big up mommy. You’re the best. I can’t wait to see you next month. My week was good, Last Saturday we got fed some nice soup. It was cow skin and chicken foot. It was one of the best cups of soup mi eva av. Things have been going great in our area. it’s the most bumpin we’ve ever been in the mission.

I got some dance lessons from Ricky, one of the youth in the ward. We pushed a car last night in trench town. a bunch of youth were pushing it so we joined in. once they saw that me and
Elder Fua were making it go way fast they all jumped on the car and got a free ride. God has blessed me with the gift of forgetfulness. People who make me really angry I’m able to forget instead of dwelling on their foolishness. I’ve really been trying to pray for those who I don’t like or wrong me.

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies , bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you”.

That’s actually really hard to do. Thank goodness for the exemplar that Jesus Christ is. His name truly is the only name given under heaven whereby man can be saved.

My week has been up like 7. Way up to heaven. We had 7 investigators at church yesterday. We found 8 new investigators last week and we have 5 people on date to be baptized. 1 of them will get baptized this Friday. Sister Gray. I actually got to interview her husband for baptism when I was a zone leader. Now I get to be a part of her teaching process. We have been teaching this group of women. The mom is named Claudette. I got sent her name and number as a referral back when I was with Elder Packer. I sent it to the downtown elders because it was in their area. Well, they never contacted her, so when I got here to downtown I called her up and we went and saw her. The next day we saw her and her daughters Kimone and Iaesha. The next lesson was Claudette,Kimone,Iaesha,Ashanti, TT and Krissy. The next lesson was Claudette, Kimone, Iaesha, Ashanti, Danieka, TT, and Latoya. They are reading the Book of Mormon and have come to church two weeks in a row. We put 4 of them on date last lesson.

We also got called by some sister missionaries in salt lake about a referral. They have been in contact with this guy named Daniel. Apparently they didn’t understand him well, because they told us Darnyel. But we went and found his house on Saturday. He told us he has been searching for a church online. Once he found the website he said he was dying for missionaries to come see him. He said he really wants to join the church. He came the very next day. He stayed for all 3 hours and loved it. Daniel is a cool dude. People are giving us referrals and we don’t have time to see everyone. What a great problem to have! The thing is though that God is giving us all of these people, so he is going to make time for us to see them.

I’m very happy. I am excited to come home. I’m also hyped to see what kind of craziness I can get myself into before I leave. Pray for these people. Pray that the Lord will bless us with success. One last go in the vineyard then it’s time to harvest baby! Fua is really one of my best friends. I’m glad I get to end my mission with him. He is so great. He is gunna teach us the Haka today in zone P-day.

Those new puma shoes I got are DOPE! Netfit Ignite Pumas. Black and white.

This coming Saturday we have a mission wide conference. That will be gnarly fi tru. I get to see all my friends before I depart from this mortal and put on my immortal. I love you dad. Get ready to train a serious athlete again. Something I really want to include in my training this time around is running. Focus on speed and explosion and having pogo sticks for legs. Because just by nature I’m not a very big thrower, I want to maximize my strengths of pop and zing. ya z mi?
